Who We Are
Our Experience
Leadership
Kim Shorter started SWP&E after many years at recognized Fortune 500 Engineering firms in order to provide exceptional service to her clients. Her understanding of local government operations stems from almost a decade of work experience working for cities, counties, and water systems in Georgia.
Her experience includes assisting clients with some of Georgia’s biggest water resources challenges including the first Georgia statewide regional water planning effort, the first update to the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District Plans, developing sustainable funding sources for asset management programs, and identifying alternative water supply sources to Lake Lanier in response to ongoing legal challenges to metropolitan Atlanta.
SWP&E brings clients the knowledge acquired from these large projects coupled with the responsiveness and customization of a small firm.
